It is press-molded by 0.5mm thick expanded graphite layers and 0.05mm thick stainless steel foils layers alternatively.The extent direction of each layer is vertical to the surface of the shaft or mandrel. Therefore it can solve the problem of adhesion and extrusion caused by the tape-molded packing rings.

The molded rings arrange plurality of metallic foil vertically to the direction of fluid leakage, so the transverse leakage to the packing can be eliminated. It can be used as the sealing for TR3500 or TR3200.It can be used to seal hot water, high temperature and pressure steam, hydrogen gas, ammonia, organic solvents,hydrocarbons, cryogenic liquid,etc., except fewer strong oxidizer.
